Quickstart guide to your settings:
Server settings:
|
| Core SIP server........... | sip.DDI2.net |
| SIP control port........... | 5060 |
| Domain name.............. | (not used)
(also known as Realm) |
| STUN Server............... | stunserver.org (192.245.12.229 : 3478) |
(We advice not to use a STUN server as the SIP protocol should resolve NATed ports,
. but in case you do experience issues making calls from a NATed network you could try this one) |
UA settings: |
| Username................... | your DDI2.net SIP number |
| Password.................... | your DDI2.net password |
| Display name.............. | your DDI2.net username
(also known as Friendly name) |
| SIP control port........... | 5060 |
| RTP Voice ports........... | 10000 - 32767
(Some UAs start RTP from port 10000, we start at 16384)
|
Making a call:
to another DDI2.net user: enter the callers SIP number;
from DDI2.net to another VoIP Provider: put the
SipBroker prefix
before the number;
from another VoIP Provider to DDI2.net: put *9900 before your DDI2.net SIP number;
to a landline number: put two leading zeroes ( 00) before the full landline number,
.. eg: calling landline number 1234567 in Rio de Janeiro (21) in Brasil (55) would be: 00 55 21 1234567
.. also see the FAQs for additional important information on selecting DO gateways!
Test the gateway:
To check if your connection works and that you can access all VoIP Providers:
- Dial *0111 88888; You should hear a welcome message.
- Dial *266 300; If you hear the monkey sounds, then domain-to-prefix mapping works.
